Future-ProofingAs SolidCircle, (another company founded by Pranay Rajgarhia), we successfully partnered with the Little River Band of Ottawa Indians to transform their operations. They previously struggled with moving paper files between departments, each relying on separate digital systems that caused errors and delays. We took decisive action to unify their processes into a single, cloud-based system, ensuring real-time information sharing. This overhaul significantly enhanced security, efficiency, and accuracy while ultimately revolutionizing their customer experience.

Investment ManagementCitizens sought information about jail inmates by contacting the sheriff's office, while law enforcement needed access to non-public inmate information. To address these needs, we tested Amazon Alexa for Business to provide relevant information for both groups, aiming to save officers time and reduce staffing costs at the Point of Service.
As SolidCircle, we decided to cancel the experiment due to concerns about liability related to sharing information with Amazon. By doing so, we saved a significant amount of money—what started as a thousand-dollar experiment ultimately prevented millions of dollars from being wasted. Understanding when and how to fund a project is crucial in the realms of AI and Digital Transformation (DTX). Millions of dollars can be wasted due to unrealistic optimism or a reluctance to address uncomfortable issues. This is where Marg can be an invaluable resource, willing to speak up and highlight these important concerns. |
Operational EfficiencyPrior to working with SolidCircle, each drain commissioner funded their own software, leading to high costs. To solve this, we formed a group of 10 commissioners to share the expenses of custom software development hosted on the Microsoft Government Azure platform to ensure compliance with regulations like FIPS, HIPAA, and PII. This move to cloud computing reduced support and maintenance costs and made the commissioners more future-ready with automatic updates to new features.
